| OASIS
Institute is a non-sectarian, nonprofit spiritual organization
established in 1995 for the purpose of providing Attitudinal
Healing support services in the Knoxville, Tennessee area. Attitudinal Healing is a philosophy based on belief that it is not people or conditions outside ourselves that cause us to be upset. We are not victims of the world we see. Rather, our perceptions, beliefs and attitudes are sources of our conflict, pain and unhappiness. We are not only responsible for our own thoughts; we are responsible for feelings we experience. By exploring these feelings, we can eventually heal them. The Institute seeks to create a safe physical and emotional environment for joining with others through attitudinal healing support groups, study groups, classes, workshops and other services that facilitate the well being of people of all backgrounds. The Center has become a meeting place for a variety of groups that teach some form of the “perennial philosophy.” Information about Attitudinal Healing and the schedule of meetings, classes, workshops and special events, is available at the Oasis Institute website. Oasis Institute is located at: 4928 Homberg Drive, Suite A-4 Knoxville, TN 37919. |
Center
For PeaceWebsite Link: http://www.centerforpeace.us |
| The Center for Peace is a nonprofit holistic spiritual teaching and healing center. It is founded on a vision of inner peace available to all people. In our experience inner peace has been found in our awareness of the presence of the Creator [The Spirit Of Life In All Things]. Very aware of the power of personal belief systems, the Center for Peace encourages people to evaluate their beliefs as to whether they limit them or free them in their very personal spiritual journey. Rather than teach a creed or doctrine about the Creator, the Center for Peace teaches people to discover the Creator on Its own terms: in Its Creations. Since any belief became limited the moment it stepped into the human mind, the Center relies more on experience than indoctrination. In doing so it draws on “what has worked” for people throughout human history: ceremony, ritual, dance, shamanic practice, vision seeking, channeling, meditation, chant, and prayer. |
The
Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS)Website Link: http://www.noetic.org |
| The
Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) is a nonprofit membership
organization located in Northern California that conducts
and sponsors leading-edge research into the potentials and
powers of consciousness—including perceptions, beliefs,
attention, intention, and intuition. The institute explores phenomena that do not necessarily fit conventional scientific models, while maintaining a commitment to scientific rigor. The institute is not a spiritual association, political-action group, or a single-cause institute. Rather, we honor open-minded approaches and multiple ways of knowing, bring discernment to our work, and support diversity of perspectives on social and scientific matters. Please explore our site, and join our organization as we explore the frontiers of consciousness in the 21st century. |

| The Worldwide Forgiveness Alliance is a non-profit, tax exempt educational foundation dedicated to evoking the healing power of forgiveness worldwide. As an essential part of that mission we are also seeking to establish the first global holiday, International Forgiveness Day, celebrated on the first Sunday of every August (August 7, 2005). See our invitation and program for last year's Celebration. We are a non-denominational organization, open to all religions, creeds and beliefs. We promote forgiveness as a way of creating a safer, more joyful and peaceful world. |
