Philosophies of Infinite Light Foundation

"...The Lord shall be
unto thee an
everlasting light..."

~ Isaiah 60:19

The philosophies and beliefs of Infinite Light Foundation™ (ILF) are Christian based. We also practice and teach many of the Sacred Native American Traditions from our Founder’s Cherokee Heritage, which have been taught to her by many respected elders.

From extensive studies and life experiences, we have formed the ILF nonprofit spiritual and public benefit organization. ILF is established by Charter as a Tennessee nonprofit public benefit corporation. Its mission, purpose and activities are now and at all times will be exclusively charitable. The activities ILF offers will at all times be directly associated with religious, charitable, scientific, literary, and educational activities, as well as activities dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to children or animals.

ILF is comprised of Ministry, Youth and Family, Wellness, and Educational Enrichment Divisions. We use many credible resources to teach, further influence, and advance consciousness and the creation of spiritual harmony, wellness, peace and unconditional love here on Earth, as it is in Heaven.

For those who are interested in joining our mission, and to better understand our philosophies and beliefs, we have summarized many of them below in a question and answer format.

Can anyone join the Infinite Light Foundation™ ?
Anyone and everyone are welcome to join in the work, practices and vision of Infinite Light Foundation™.

Our mission is accomplished through donations which are made by individuals and corporations within our Donation Programs. We also offer ministry services, spiritual wellness groups, youth and family programs, and educational enrichment workshops and classes, all of which are available through a "set donation based" structure.

A new Spiritual Supporters Program  is also being implemented for individuals to become supporters of Infinite Light Foundation™ through a nominal set donation, for the purpose of sharing in aspects of the Foundation, and its beneficial work.

What does "set donation based sructure" and "structured set donation format" mean?
ILF offers initiative, program, class, workshop and service activities for the purpose of learning and sharing methods to achieve and advance the evolution of consciousness and spirituality.

The activities ILF offers are often described in text as being available through a "structured set donation format“ or "set donation based structure." When so used, the phrases "structured set donation format“ or “set donation based structure” means that ILF activities initiatives, programs, classes, workshops, or services are made available on the basis of a pre-set or suggested donation to ILF. However, the donations that are received from these “set donation based” activities are used for the overall operations of ILF, and for its charitable and public benefit mission and objective activities, just like the pre-set charges that a non-profit hospital receives from the operation of its emergency department.

Are we Christians?
We come from a background of Christian traditions, and through extensive study we have found there to be truths in all religions.

How do we view God?
We believe in, and are in service of one God. It is by none other than God’s eternal and unconditional love, goodness, kindness and giving that life is received to all in existence. We believe that the work and operations of God is by and through The Universal Consciousness.

The “God” known to us, is referred to by many names, but is nonetheless, the one, and the same: God, Spirit, The Great Spirit, Holy Spirit, One Spirit, and The Divine Universal Consciousness. We also believe, practice and teach that God is indwelling within each of us and personal to all who feel this indwelling presence.

What is the basis of our religion and faith?
Within our faith there is acceptance for all spiritual paths and expressions. By and through our interfaith ministry we believe and teach of the indwelling God presence within all, and that unconditional love is the basis for all measures of becoming "one" with God.

How do we view Jesus?
We believe that Jesus is the son of God, and that the kingdom of God was revealed to us through the teachings of Jesus. We believe that Jesus is of the Trinity (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit), and that eternal life is received by and through this union.

Do we study the Bible?
We study the bible, and throughout our teachings and writings, many references to the bible and scriptures therein are made.

How do we view Prayer?
We endorse and honor all forms of sincere prayer. In addition, through our practice and teachings we teach that the truest form of prayer is an “embodiment treatment.” This method is a process of creating a combined body, mind and soul union of life itself, which includes the seven sacred directions, and within this “embodiment treatment” we sustain our faith and belief of the indwelling God. We are to pray for grace and guidance, and to believe that God will provide for and bless us abundantly. We are to believe God’s presence is sufficient for all needs and that all will be sustained in the divine order in which it is to be received.

How do we view Native American traditions?
From the Founder and President of Infinite Light Foundation™ having been taught traditions of the Redman through her Cherokee Heritage, we do in fact believe, hold sacred, practice and teach many aspects of the Native American traditions.

Do we practice ceremonies?
Ceremonies are a way of life for us. We teach and practice ceremonies to bring forth spiritual harmony and wellness. We acknowledge the seven sacred directions, and practice age-old traditions of smudging, drumming, chanting and dance in keeping with the Native American traditions.

Do we believe in eternal life?
Our belief is in eternal life, immortality, and that the continuity of the soul is expanding and forever evolving through the gift and grace of God.

How do we view death?
It is our belief believe that life is eternal. We believe and teach that a physical body operates within a natural cycle of birth and death, and that even though we exist within a body during our earthly existence, we are not just our body. We are the life that emanates from the spirit and soul within our body, and that life itself is infinite and immortal.

During the process of a life existence as a body, we have pre-contracted for the exact time of our “death”, events, situations, and relationships to occur within a lifetime in order to gain growth and knowledge of the life lessons that are needed to further advance spiritually. Upon the time of a soul’s earthly departure, we experience what is known as “death.” This “death” is but a mere transition to another plane of existence.

We at Infinite Light Foundation™ refer to “death” as "passing" or “crossing over.” In “death”, essentially we are just moving our existence from one level to another. It is by the earthly experience of “death” that our soul, passes or crosses over into the light, and there and in spirit, eternal life exists.

What is a soul contract?
In the spirit realm each soul enters into a “soul contract.” This contract is prepared with and in the presence of the Great Council, and with the assistance and guidance of the soul’s Spirit Guide. The soul in which the contract is being prepared makes pre-destined choices for the next existence. Once completed the “soul contract” is then entered into the hall of Akashic Records, also known as “The Book of Life.”

Do we believe in past lives?
We believe that all people are incarnations of the One Spirit within us, and that each soul has a pre-designated contract that has been entered into, and each incarnation is put in place to further advance our spiritual evolution.

Do Angels really exist?
Yes, Angels really do exist. Angels are non-physical beings of spiritual energy who do spiritual work on the different levels of existence. There a many different forms of Angel groups. Each Angel group fulfills a specific duty. The Archangels hold a higher vibrational energy than other forms of Angels. Each person has a Guardian Angel. The Guardian Angel holds a specific position of assistance, guidance, and protection of a certain person. The Guardian Angel works in ways of urging and directing the soul in which it is connected, to fulfill the duty of the position held.

What is a Spirit Guide?
A Spirit Guide is a soul that once was a physical being. Spirit Guides are evolved souls that have evolved in their spiritual awakening to the seventh level. Through the process of obtaining this high degree of spiritual evolvement, a Spirit Guide may choose a physical being to become a guide to. The physical being is known as a “chosen soul” and may or may not be a family member. The Spirit Guide has often been with their chosen soul over many existences. Spirit Guides can often be seen, heard or sensed by their chosen soul. When a Spirit Guide is sensed visually by intuitive individuals, it is on the right side of the chosen soul. Spirit Guides have specific powers to provide guidance. However, they cannot interfere with choices made through the “free will” of a chosen soul.

What is a Spirit Guardian?
A Spirit Guardian is an evolved soul that has experienced a high degree of spiritual awakening and have gained entrance into the sixth level. This level of evolved soul is given the gift of choosing to become a Guardian to a physical being of their choice. A Spirit Guardian is usually a family member that has experienced many existences, and are visually seen by intuitive individuals on the left side of their chosen soul. In many ways, a Spirit Guardian provides a guiding presence to their chosen soul.

What about Heaven and Hell?
We believe that Heaven exists, and is experienced to the level of spiritual evolvement attained throughout our existence.

In our beliefs, Hell is experienced here on Earth. Through the gifts of divine grace and free will, we can choose to create our own Heaven or Hell here on Earth. We then take our choices made here, with us to the next plane of existence.

What about sin?
Sin, in our views is simply not reflecting spiritual perfection. A sin is not a thing, it is merely an action or activity that produces undesirable effects. It is also our belief, that we are punished by our sin, and not for them.

What about evil?
Within our choices, each of us may choose good or evil. Evil is therefore only a state of mind in which evil doings occur through the state of mind of evil that is chosen. It is also created by accepting false beliefs into our minds. Evil therefore cannot exist, when belief and living in the presence of unconditional love, is chosen.

What about karma?
Within our soul and spirit lies our own destiny; and we understand that life is by and through God. Each situation or event we are placed in is a divine process to further evolve. During this evolvement process, there also lies the divine gift of free will, and through this divine gift we may or may not complete the lesson to be learned, which results in creating “karma” that carries over into the next existence to then allow for necessary completion of the divine lesson.

What is the definition of unconditional love?
Unconditional love is the giving and receiving without limitations or expectations. It is the ability to look past the here and now, and see to the divine order and presence, in all that exists.

What about meditation?
It is through the age-old practice of meditation that one receives divine guidance, wisdom, and knowledge. During meditation one reaches the “higher self” and the indwelling God within each of us. It is also through meditation that we can become at peace with ourselves and through growth, become more spiritually evolved.

What is an affirmation?
An affirmation is a positive and solemn declaration. It is also that which is put into place with the understanding and faith that it is already a reality. It is the belief that we are continuously surrounded by The Universal Consciousness, and it receives the direct impressions of our thoughts and acts upon them in the manner in which they are believed. Through the actual process of an affirmation, we essentially “act as if” our highest aspirations have already manifested.

How does intuition help us?
It is our practices and belief that direct revelations of truth attained through intuition comes from one who lives in close contact with the indwelling God, and that intuition and self-knowingness is from God, Spirit, and The Universal Consciousness.

Do we believe in Natural and Spiritual Healing?
We believe and practice through Reiki and other natural energy healing modalities, that the power of natural healing occurs by belief in its existence and through God, the Spirit.

Do we recommend conventional medicine practices?
While we do honor and endorse natural and spiritual healing practices, we also believe and recommend that if anyone is in the midst of, or concerned with any physical or psychological condition, that an appropriate licensed medical or health professional be contacted immediately.
